BioI hope to major in Molecular Biology. I'll have to take so much chem for my major, I might as well choose Chemistry as a minor, maybe Psych too... We'll see how that goes. I dream of obtaining a Ph.D. in Genetics and either applying my major in working with the CDC and doing research to cure/prevent/treat diseases or gaining a professorship and doing similar research there.
I like to spend quality time with people who can hold an intelligent conversation. I think society's obsession with sex is hilarious and laugh at/about it often. I believe love should be unconditional. Family is the most important thing to me, with friends an indistinguishably close second. I believe that one should be able to call one’s family members friends as well, and truly mean it. I tend to speak my mind because I feel that honesty is more important than flattery or appeasement. I like people who reserve judgment until they have a chance to get to know someone. Then if you dislike someone, at least it is for a reason.
I have an unrealistic goal of learning all languages, have taken German for five years, and have purchased various instructive books and CDs on Italian, French, Spanish, Czech, Russian, and Hindi. I am a nerd and proud of it. I read scientific journals and magazines for fun. That about sums me up.
